Ledgent is currently partnering with a firm located in the metro area who is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team on a contract to hire basis.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in accounting and will convert to permanent quickly for a high performing coworker.  There is excellent opportunity for growth!

Accounting Assistant duties include:

  • Accounts payable data entry, invoice matching and payments
  • Accounts receivable invoice creation and payment application
  • Administrative tasks such as filing, etc
  • Coordinate with internal coworkers to resolve discrepancies

The idea Accounting Assistant will possess:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with accounting in a professional setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and dependability
  • Good organizational and time management skills
