Accounting Manager

Seeking a full-time Accounting Manager who thrives on problem-solving, coaching, and mentoring. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen curiosity who enjoys fostering team success, and offers growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 5 years' experience in high-volume, full cycle accounting
- Proficiency in AR, AP, General Ledger, and inventory systems; AS400 experience a plus
- Background in multi-brand and multi-state environments
- Strong communication, work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise professional judgment and discretion
- Team player with a knack for process improvement and change management
- Proven leadership skills with a passion for coaching and mentoring

**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare monthly financial statements with insightful analysis
- Manage monthly general ledger close processes
- Ensure accuracy of revenue postings, including manufacturer-direct invoicing
- Conduct general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end accruals
- Process semi-monthly payroll and daily financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory policies
- Prepare and file tax reports (1099, 1096, Property Tax, Sales Tax)
- Maintain Fixed Asset schedules and internal controls
- Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements
- Facilitate ACH, wire transactions, and resolve account discrepancies
- Support process improvement initiatives and paperless workflow migration
- Uphold confidentiality and protect organizational value
- Stay updated with industry trends through ongoing education
- Contribute to the organization's mission through special projects and tasks

Salary: $100-$120k annually

Full-time, initially office-based with periodic remote work flexibility
