Accounts Payable Specialist - Immediate Hire Opportunity-Construction

Responsibilities:

- Efficiently process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding to general ledger accounts, programs, and cost centers.

- Review and approve expense reports in the system to maintain precise financial tracking.

- Reconcile vendor statements to foster strong financial relationships.

- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, proactively resolving discrepancies with vendors.

- Respond promptly to internal inquiries and teams, promoting effective communication.

- Support month-end closing activities and handle ad hoc requests and projects as assigned.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in accounting.

- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures.

- Proficiency in various accounting systems; intermediate Excel skills required.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks independently.

-2-3 + years AP experience.

Location: Onsite

Salary Range: $60,000-$62, 400 annual
