Job Description

Ledgent is currently seeking a Tax Manager/Director for a client in the Orlando, FL area. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, Master's preferred and 5-7 years of tax experience, CPAs preferred. This is an immediate direct-hire opportunity!


  • Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state and local income tax returns
  • Review all Sales and Use tax returns to ensure accurate and timely compliance
  • Prepare Allocation and Apportionment schedules used to create state and city tax return data to ensure accuracy and timely compliance with state law
  • Responsible for researching tax issues and implementing necessary changes that affect the organization
  • Manage state tax audits
  • Prepare federal and state tax estimates
  • Prepare quarterly income tax provisions
  • Supervise Tax Accountants
  • Provide verbal and written performance feedback to direct reports
