Pay: $80-95K

 Grant Accountant Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. 
  •  
Grant Accountant Job Duties
  • Reviewing accounting principles and procedures to ensure they are applied correctly in financial statements
  • Monitoring cash flow to identify problems with collections or disbursements
  • Preparing financial statements by applying accounting principles and procedures
  • Preparing reports on the financial status of a company by analyzing the results of audits, reviews, and financial statements
  • Preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Organizing and maintaining accounting records such as journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliations
  • Preparing financial statements for clients' businesses by collecting data and calculating figures from records
  • Preparing financial analysis and recommendations to management regarding capital investments and long-term financial goals
  • Calculating payroll taxes and filing tax forms with state and federal agencies
