Job Description

One of our top clients in the Denver area is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. They are known for having a strong work/life balance!

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve incoming checks for daily manual bank deposits.
  • Determine correct application and input receipts from wire transfers, manual and lockbox deposits. Scan all receipt documentation into ExpertImage.
  • Process client credit card payments and post credit card settlements from Elavon. Research overpayments and unapplied funds to determine proper allocation. Prepare check requests, including appropriate backup documentation, for refunds.
  • Respond to client and inquiries and requests for information regarding accounts receivable, cash receipt application, and refund of overpayments.
  • Initiate contact with bank personnel regarding lockbox questions and issues.
  • Assist with maintaining general ledger suspense account for unknown cash receipts. Research, including client contact, for proper allocation of funds in a timely manner.
