The SF Bay Area Ledgent Team has been in the Bay Area for 25 years and we are seeking the right Accounting Leader to contribute immediately to this Very Established Tech company.  Great and stable environment.  Please apply ASAP, as interviews take place this next week.  This is a Local and HYBRID position, Monday - Friday, with 2 days in office, and 3 days work from home:  8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Primary Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager in our San Jose location.  This position reports directly to our Controller and responsible for managing the reporting process.  This position requires a high degree of accuracy, organization and the right candidate must be very detail oriented and a cultural fit.  The Accounting team is a friendly group, who love what they do, and we want you to feel the same.    
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting Manager

* Assist Controller in support of business requirements relative to all accounting and financial management
* Coordinate the accurate and timely closing of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting periods
* Drive annual budget planning and ongoing budget administration and allocation
* Actively participate in process improvement projects with accounting and finance
* Direct audits with independent auditors and regulatory agencies
* Prepare workpaper and required schedules for Corporate tax preparers
* Manage monthly bank reconciliation and reporting
* Provide assistance and guidance to members of the Accounting department as required
* Back up for AP/AR transaction processing as needed
* Ad hock financial analysis and reporting

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or Economics
* Minimum of 7 years related work experience in accounting
* Solid understanding of GAAP
* Established ability using Microsoft Office software with a high proficiency with Excel
* Hands-on experience with all areas of accounting
* Experience with ERP system implementation
* Ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently and cross-functionally
* Must be self-directed, motivated, well organized with attention to detail
* Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the Company

PLUS, but not required:  SEC, CPA, BIG4
