Job Description

Ledgent is working with a Manufacturing environment in the west metro ADDING a Senior Accountant to their team. Ideal candidate would have a Bachelors Degree, 4+ years of accounting experience (1-2+ years in Sales & Use Tax), and is comfortable working on site.

Direct Hire. $80,000-$100,000. Flexible Schedule (7-3, 8-5, 9-6). On-site (with situational flexibility). Great benefits and even better culture! Room for advancement as they are growing!

Job Duties/Description:

• Prepares sales and use tax reports timely and accurately
• Maintains tax notices, records, returns for proper record-keeping
• Timely completion of monthly account reconciliations, responsible for intricate account reconciliations, and oversight as a reviewer of certain account reconciliations.
• Accurate preparation of journal entries, including complex corporate accounting entries, as part of month-end closing process.
• Reconciles and analyzes general ledger accounts.
• Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits.
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment including general adherence and knowledge of SOX controls and external audit procedures, as applicable.
• Support internal and external audits and reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree (required); Bachelors Degree (preferred)
• 2+ years of Sales & Tax experience
• Advanced Excel User
• Comfortable working on site
