Position: Accountant / Controller

Location: Livermore - Onsite

Salary: $110-140K

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Controller to join our team in Livermore. This is an onsite position with a competitive salary range of $110-140K, and an excellent opportunity for a temp-to-hire role.

Key Responsibilities:

Journal Entries (JE): Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.Year-End Closing: Manage the year-end closing process, ensuring all financial activities are accounted for.HR Functions: Assist with HR-related tasks as needed.Book Closing: Oversee the monthly and annual closing of the books.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor two staff members, providing guidance and support.Expense Review: Analyze and review expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations.Payroll Management: Oversee and process payroll efficiently.Collections: Manage accounts receivable and collections processes.Financial Statements: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

Qualifications:

ERP Systems: Proficiency in at least one ERP system is required.Microsoft Excel: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.Experience: Proven experience in accounting and financial management.Inventory: Inventory asset account is very important and needs to be well understood
