Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:
 

  • Perform various A/P process transactions such as invoice processing, statement review, employee expenses, supplier payments, and/or other related items
  • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
  • Process weekly supplier payments and run payment selection registers
  • Schedule and prepare checks; resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation
  • Review older PO goods and invoice receipts and clear or match with A/P invoices
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries
  • Process employee expense reports utilizing Concur
  • Be part of the month-end close process reconciling AP to the GL, preparing accruals, and preparing and posting journal entries
  • Communicate with the outsourced BPO (Business Provider Organization) in India regarding daily A/P transactions, coordinate their work and resolve issues
  • Assist in the preparation of 1099 form
  • Complete ad hoc individual assignments and team projects.
  • This position will be reporting to the Accounting Supervisor based in Morgan Hill, CA
Requirements:
 
  • Associate or bachelor's degree, major in accounting or finance
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounting
  • Familiarity with computerized accounting systems, Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to details and the ability to effectively review and provide an accurate, well-organized deliverable in a time-conscious fashion
