**Join Our Team as a Staff/Property Accountant**

Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for property accounting? We're seeking a qualified individual to join this team.

**Qualifications:**
- Property accounting experience required, non-profit experience a +
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) demonstrated through prior experience.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Word and Excel (intermediate to advanced functions). Yardi big +.

**Responsibilities:**
- Produce high volumes of accounting work and/or special projects.
- Apply accounting principles to prepare and analyze property financial reconciliations and statements.
- Prepare year-end reconciliations/schedules and ensure timely completion of financial reporting.
- Summarize and interpret current and projected financial position of assigned projects.
- Review AP batches for timely payments, maintain cash balances, and reconcile subledgers.
- True up Intercompany transactions and prepare cash transfer documents as needed.
- Assist in completing pre-close and close activities, ensuring timely completion of accounting processes.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and journal entries to generate monthly financial reports.
- Ensure timely payments of mortgages, taxes, reserves, and other fees for assigned properties.
- Maintain and file property financial information in centralized accounting files.

**Salary:**
$75,000-$80,000 annually

**Work Arrangement:**
Hybrid and onsite
