Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in a hybrid remote capacity. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding payments.

  2. General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  3. Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  4. Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

  5. Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and resolve any billing issues.

  6. Ad Hoc Financial Tasks: Assist with special projects and financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. 1+ year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  2. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in an in-office/hybrid environment.
  6. Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
