Job Description

This position oversees Financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Bookkeeper will perform daily accounting task such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains records of financial tractions by establishing new accounts as needed; Posting AP, AR and Payroll transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Responsible for all account financial transactions by using established chart of accounts; using defined bookkeeping policies and procedures; Tracking Invoices and payments.
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Reconciling Bank accounts
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents such as invoices, packing slips, payment receipts
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, advising management on needed actions
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • College degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities

$26-35 per hour DOE
