Ledgent is partnering with a client in the west metro area on a search for a Lead Accounting Specialist on either a contract to hire or permanent basis.  This is an opportunity to join a stable company in a grown field that has seen record growth in 2020.  This company offers excellent compensation including annual bonus and extremely competitive benefits.

The Lead Accounting Specialist duties include:

  • Enter, match and process accounts payable invoices
  • Post payments to client accounts
  • Reconcile cash receipts and deposits
  • Reconcile vendor statements to resolve issues
  • Occasional cash reconciliations 
  • W9 management
  • Review coworker's work for accuracy

The ideal Lead Accounting Specialist will possess:
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Payment Posting/ Cash Applications
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel- must be able to manipulate large data-sets
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ERP software experience
