Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll 
  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data accurately
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures
  • Ensures manual and systematic timekeeping systems are accurate
  • Monitor and audits time punches to be sure everything was entered correctly.
  • Tracks vacation, sick leave, Floating Holiday, etc. and ensures this time is recorded accurately
  • Researches and resolves employees timesheets discrepancies and payroll disputes
  • Provide supporting payroll documentation for audits
  • Gather information from each property for payroll processing, including new hires, rate changes, commission/ bonus earning, deductions, and etc.
  • Assist with preparing manual checks for new hires, terms, and/or adjustments.
  • Complete forms related to employment verification, workers' compensation and state disability.
  • Verify all garnishment deductions and report to agencies as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times
  • Other assignments as needed

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least two-year experience and/or knowledge in running high volume payroll processing and/or human resources.  
  • Knowledge of ADP preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly, timely, and accurately
  • Efficient self-starter with superb communications and organization skills.
  • High level of interpersonal/ Professionalism
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual Spanish Preferred
