Job Description

A local and stable Sacramento company is looking for a talented and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist. The person in this Accounts Receivable Specialist position will report to the Controller and have responsibilities that include:

  • High-volume invoices for several entities
  • Posting payments and daily deposits
  • Aging reports and collections on past due accounts
  • Account reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
  • Documenting A/R related documents and maintaining records
  • Assist with A/R analysis
  • Assist with other areas in accounting as needed

Qualifications include:
  • 3+ years' experience in accounts receivable and heavy invoicing
  • AA degree in Accounting preferred but may be substituted with more related experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, IF-THEN, etc.)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure while maintaining high accuracy
