Job Description

Ledgent is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a contract opportunity in the Atlanta area.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings.
  • Handle other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP System experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
