With over 60 years of experience in commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling construction our client has completed hundreds of projects, from high-rise apartments and condominiums to complicated health care and laboratory facilities and everything in between. Simple or complicated, the teams have the strength and talent to meet any challenge.  Every project is staffed by a team of engineers and field managers that are among the most experienced in the industry.  Each team works closely with Architects and General Contractors from pre-construction through the punch-list stage and final close-out to insure projects are completed to the satisfaction of every stakeholder.
The controller will oversee 3-4 Accounting Professionals in the dry wall division as there are two other divisions, masonry, and concrete restoration.. The primary responsibilities include providing leadership for the organization's financial functions and development and implementation of strategies to drive profit and financial well-being of the company.  The controller will be working directly with the owner and CFO of the company and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, goal oriented and have strong communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
A degree in Accounting and/or Finance, proven experience managing a team, the ability to meet deadlines on the day-to-day accounting operations and a deep knowledge of financial reporting and auditing are all a must.

The controller will also be responsible for processing requisitions and change orders.  The controller will obtain information from project managers and input it in Viewpoint.

A working knowledge of Accounting & Payroll Software , and familiarity with project-based accounting concepts used in the construction industry is a plus.
