Job Description

Large and stable company is seeking a candidate that will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and inventory management. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Their are internal growth opportunities across the US. The position is working onsite with a pay scale of $85-100k+ Bonus.

Responsibilities
* Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principle
* Performs monthly depreciation of fixed assets
* Prepares various account reconciliations, including monthly balance sheet accounts.
* Makes continuing comparison between budgeted and actual performance.
* Assists in preparing monthly financial package.
* Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
* Produce Financial closings, ensuring consistency of accounting/statutory reporting and product line reporting
* Provide help and support for budgeting and forecasting processes
* Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications
* 4+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
* Inventory Management
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
* Strong knowledge of GAAP required
* Advanced Excel is required
* Manufacturing or construction materials experience
* Public Accounting experience is a plus
* CPA preferred
