Job Description

A small wholesale/consumer products company located near the South Bay is looking for an Accounting Director / Manager. In this stand alone position, the Accounting Director / Manager will be responsible for the day to day accounting and finance functions. The Accounting Director / Manager will ensure efficient accounting policies and procedures, create and generate cash flow reports, calculate sales commissions, analyze the fiscal budget, handle monthly/quarterly/annual closes, prepare financial statements, and review cyclical variances. The Accounting Director / Manager will also prepare sales taxes, conduct system modifications as needed, prepare ad hoc reports, work with various departments, as well as assist with any other tasks as needed.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Must be hands-on. Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and participate in the work.
• Sage 100 (Mas 90) is required.
• Consumer products or manufacturing industry background.
• Ability to work with various personnel.
• Comfortable working in a small company setting is essential.
• $115 - 135k + discretionary bonus.
