Job Description

Opportunity with Mission-Oriented Organization; Billing Support Specialist Position

+ Verify insurance coverage/patient eligibility

+ Bill to insurance such as Medi-Cal / Submit claims to insurance

+ Seek resolution for claim rejections, resubmit as applicable

+ Collect on outstanding invoices

+ Prepare reports for working in conjunction with the Dept of Mental Health

+ Perform reconciliations for billing monthly/yearly within the database(s)

+ Provide info or reports as needed in support of audit

+ Comfortable in Excel, Outlook, Word and MS Teams

+ Ensure client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA

+ Prior data entry and/or accounting support experience req'd

+ Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and have an eye for and interest in accuracy

+ Looking for a candidate who is flexible to learn, and navigate in new computer systems

+ Great communication and interpersonal skills req'd
