Job Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions and assist the Accounting Department with audit research and completing monthly P&L

  • Setup vendors for Accounts Payable
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Month-End Close
  • Ability to cross-train on Accounts Receivable duties 
  • Reconcile bank statements to General Ledger
  • Research credit card issues
  • Fixed Assets maintenance and depreciation entries 
  • P&L completion on monthly basis (since of urgency)
  • Effective communication with Senior Leadership on P&L status
  • Preparation of audit schedules and completion of other projects assigned by Senior Leadership 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience required
  • Detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • The ability to work well with others in a team environment and fast paced environment
