Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, billing, collections, and reconciliations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, highly organized, and proficient in using accounting software and tools.

Key Responsibilities: * Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers * Monitor accounts receivable aging report and follow up on past due invoices * Communicate with customers regarding payment status and resolve billing discrepancies * Process incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate customer accounts * Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness * Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collections efforts * Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve issues * Maintain documentation of customer interactions and collection efforts * Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable

Qualifications: * Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role * Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping * Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
