Job Description

Our growing company is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its team. We offer a great work-life balance with the opportunity to move into a management role. The ideal candidate likes a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
  • Journal Entries, Account and Bank Reconciliations
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Handle external audits and bank reconciliations
  • Report monthly cash position
  • Prepare financial statements
  • The senior accountant will report to the company controller
  • Special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • CPA a plus
  • 3+ years of Accounting Experience
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, such as Quickbooks, Intacct, NetSuite, GreatPlains a plus
  • Excel skills (VLookups/Pivot Tables)
  • A strong work ethic
