Position: Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant
Location: Concord
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay: $70-90K/DOE

Top requirements for Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst:
-          Senior Accountant level and have done full closes on their own.
-          GreatPlains experience would be preferred but not a required
-          Good tenure

Summary of position:
The Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Non-Profit organizations general ledger, financial statements, and financial planning and analytics. This position is expected to function with a minimum amount of oversight while performing complex accounting work that require the application of accounting principles and standards to the financial activities of the Non-Profit.  The position is also responsible for preparing and reporting the annual operating budget, as well as multiple financial forecasts during the fiscal year.  This position administers the budgeting tool (Adaptive Insights) for budget development and on-going data maintenance. 

Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst responsibilities include:
Accounting Functions:
*       Performs advanced accounting analysis requiring the application of accounting theories and standards to the financial activities of NonProfit to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting procedures.
*       Produces operating statement, balance sheet, and trail balance for organization as well as other financial statements as required.
*       Generates monthly reports for various revenue and expense line items, including report generation from EHR system and expense allocation model, and journal entry development.

Financial Planning & Analysis Functions:
*       Provides accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to operating teams, and gains insights into spend trends with meaningful and actionable analyses.
*       Conducts internal audits as part of the Asset Protection Management internal audit program, with oversight from Sr. Finance Manager and Controller.


Requirements / Qualifications:
*       Strong knowledge of accounting standards and systems, as well as budgeting principles.
*       Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
*       Experience working with Budgeting Software
*       Experience with Great Plains Accounting software highly desirable.
*       Experience with NextGen, Epic a plus.
*       Knowledge/ability of detailed financial and operational data analysis and consultative skills.
*       Knowledge of non-profit and/or health care industry preferred.
*       Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
*       Able to formulate finance study designs and prepare and conduct professional presentations.
