Job Description

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join a growing construction firm in Holiday, FL. If you have a love for the construction industry and have experience managing the financials for multiple projects -- this could be the role for you! This role will join a tenured team and provide direct support to the corporate controller. The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of construction project coordination experience and be responsible for the following:


  • Enter monthly budget adjustments in Timberline per PMs budget worksheet
  • Assist Project Manager with job cost, commitment or budget-related questions
  • Collect and review Subcontractor draws
  • Work with Project Team and Accounting department to process all invoices
  • Enter bid day budget in Timberline
  • Collect and enter all project cost data and extras with appropriate codes
  • Process all invoices, commitments (subcontracts and purchases orders), change orders, lien releases, insurance documents
  • Project budgeting, budget adjustments, and reconciliation of commitments to budgets
