Job Description

Corporate Controller for a national Food Franchise Company.

Duties:

• Accounting and Financial Reporting with complex accounting processes.
• Lead accounting team - Accounting Manager and staff
• Oversight of: sales reporting and tax filings; franchise payments and expenses; track - new, transferred and terminated stores; internal - tax, 401k and workers comp audits
• Post HIGH VOLUME -DETAILED journal entries
• Cash flow reporting
• Ad-hoc projects, requests to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics
• CPA strongly preferred
• Franchise and big box retail accounting experience
• 5 or more years of experience managing general accounting team through month end closing
• Strong ERP system experience such as Intacct, NetSuite or Sage500
• Strong technical accounting and system experience
• Excellent communication skills.
