Contract to Hire Payroll Adminstrator in Midtown
Salary $28-$33 Hourly
Hybrid (onsite 2 days weekly)
Responsibilities:
- The Payroll Administrator II will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations and company policy
- Process weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for all hourly or salaried staff, as assigned
- Setup and maintenance of employee's voluntary/involuntary deductions, to include all garnishments, 401K, and other approved deductions, by employee request
- Review employee payroll transactions including new hires, status changes, and terminations
- Setup employee's tax-related information upon hire and as requested by the employee(s)
- Assist with the reconciliations of the general ledger for all payroll related accounts
- Answer any questions that employees might have about their pay and work to resolve any issues that arise
- Work in conjunction with and support the Human Resources department across the entire organization
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in payroll administration
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with Advanced Excel skills to include lookup and pivot tables
- ADP Workforce software experince
- Experience with In-House processing of Garnishments and Payroll Tax returns
