Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in the construction industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients based on contract terms and project milestones.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process credit card payments and apply payments to customer accounts.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and provide support for audit requests.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction billing processes and contract terms.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $24 - $27 per hr.
