Job Description
Position Title: Part-time Bookkeeper
- Location: Blaine: 100% In-Office
- Pay: $20-$25/hour
- Hours: 20-24 hours/week (flexible schedule within regular business hours)
Job Duties/Description:
- Full charge bookkeeping: full cycle AP/AR, Payroll
- Perform scheduled computations of prepaid expenses, accruals, interest, and enter depreciation expense
- Communicate with clients and prepare their financial statements
- Reconciliation of bank, credit card statements, and loans
- Perform financial calculations and general ledger duties
- Perform tasks as assigned, data entry, maintain client confidentiality
Requirements:
- Accounting experience (2 years minimum)
- Accounting software experience (QuickBooks Online experience)
Top 3 most important traits:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer, spreadsheet software program and calculator
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles, payroll, and sales tax
