Ledgent is hiring for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager in the Clearwater area. Our client is an established CPA firm seeking a well-rounded professional to join the team. This is a very blended role for a small office unit. You will not only be responsible for processing payroll and daily accounting functions for multiple business entities, you will also serve as the liaison and point of contact for the CPAs and their clients. Ultimately, we are searching for a dedicated person who would take ownership of the role, as if it were his/her own company. Exceptional service is the #1 initiative.
· Payroll for 100+ companies (varying in size)
· Full-cycle accounting for 30+ business entities
· Process sales tax
· Financial statement prep
· Scheduling and calendar management
· Screening phone calls to CPA's
