Job Description

We are currently searching for a talented Tax Accountant with 3 years of CPA firm experience experience to join a dynamic, growing accounting department. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency with the MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word), attention to detail, and be extremely organized.

-Prepares monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
-Assist with cash, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
-Assesses monthly inventory, cost of sales, and gross margin trends
-Support the accounting team with preparation and analysis of the financial statements, budgeting and variance issues, and forecasting
-Assist the accounting manager with month-end close responsibilities

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA firm
-Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite
-Experience working with a major ERP package (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)
-A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
-Masters Degree a Plus, CPA Track preferred.
