Job Description

We're looking for a Payroll Administrator for our client in Downtown Portland area. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company and an engaging accounting team. This is a full-time, direct hire position that offers comprehensive benefits. 

  • Processing prevailing wage and certified payroll while ensuring compliance with all state and federal wage and hour laws
  • Work closely with human resources to ensure maintenance of employee data
  • Prepare and process all payroll tax filings and payments 
  • Ensure proper general ledger coding, and perform all monthly reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close
  • Process all tax liens, tax levies, garnishments, and child support orders
  • Produce payroll reports for management as needed 
  • Work with employees to resolve any paycheck inquiries and get them resolved in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • Experience processing payroll using Viewpoint
  • Certified Payroll experience required
  • Good organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
