Ledgent is currently seeking a Billing Clerk for a PERMANENT role in our clients Tampa based headquarters.  If you are a team-first professional looking to build on your billing career --- this could be the opportunity for you!  This position will be an integral member of a growing billing department:


  • Coordinate and maintain monthly billing for assigned Attorneys
  • Prepare prebills for assigned Attorneys
  • Process edits, write offs, transfers and other time and expense adjustments
  • Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner
  • Review new and updated billing guidelines to ensure proper compliance to specified guidelines
  • Ensure that bills are submitted promptly through the client ebilling systems and follow up on rejections and reductions for appeal

Job Requirements


• BS Degree in Finance/ Accounting preferred but can be exchanged for legal billing experience
• 2 – 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP experience a PLUS
