Publicly traded, international organization located in south Los Angeles is seeking a Financial Analyst with an accounting background to join their operations finance team. In this position, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing and analyzing global variances, costing analysis, cost accounting management, and revenue forecasting. The Financial Analyst will also perform expense analysis, inventory management and analysis, account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, assist with monthly and quarterly closes, ad hoc reporting, financial modeling, supporting SEC filings, as well as handling various projects in conjunction with the accounting team.
· Qualified candidate will need to have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.

•CPA and/or MBA is preferred, but not required.
•At least two years of accounting experience with an international, large, or publicly traded company is ideal.
•Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skill are needed.
•Background of working with an ERP system (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.) is a required.
•Having strong analytical and technical experience is essential.
•Must have solid understanding of accounting processes.
•Excellent communication skills are critical.
