Internationally recognized, publicly traded consumer products company located in south Los Angeles is looking to hire a Corporate Accountant. In this position, the Corporate Accountant will be responsible for general ledger and fixed asset management, assisting with preparing financial reporting balance sheets, reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and assisting month / quarter / year-end closing processes. The Corporate Accountant will also partake in SOX compliance, general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and ad hoc financial & cash flow reporting functions.
Qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
At least two years of corporate accounting with a large and/or publicly traded organization.
SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) knowledge is a plus.
CPA or CPA tracking is preferred.
ERP systems and strong Excel skills are important.
Excellent analytical skills are also required.
